The Vance Gate Repair Phoenix Guarantee
We stand behind every gate repair, installation, and motor replacement we complete in Phoenix with something you can actually hold in your hand: a written record, a photographed log, and a promise with a date on it. Since 2014, we’ve repaired and installed more than 22,000 gates, and every single job started with a flat price on paper and ended with documentation of what we found, what we adjusted, and what we left behind. That’s not marketing language. That’s the Haven Standard, and it’s how we’ve operated from day one.
Adrian Vance built this company out of commercial access-control work, where missing a wiring diagram or skipping a photo of the limit-switch setting could cost a facility manager their job. He brought that same discipline to residential gates in Phoenix. When our technician leaves your property, you get the photo log, the part numbers, and the written price you already agreed to. No surprise invoice. No “we found something else.” No voicemail if you call back with a question. A live person answers our phone 24 hours a day, seven days a week, because a gate that won’t close at 10 PM is a security issue, not a scheduling issue.
What’s Covered
- Workmanship for 365 days. Under our 365-Day Done Right Promise, if any repair we complete isn’t right, we make it right at no additional charge, no argument, no expiration date within that full year. The repair itself is covered, and so is the peace of mind that comes with knowing we don’t disappear after the truck pulls away.
- Parts we install. We use manufacturer-specified components for your gate’s automation brand, whether that’s a LiftMaster operator, a FAAC control board, a BFT limit switch, a Linear actuator, a Viking gate motor, a Ghost Controls system, a DoorKing access panel, an Elite slide-gate operator, or a Mighty Mule opener. We don’t substitute off-brand parts without documenting it and getting your approval first.
- Site condition on departure. We leave your property as we found it, minus the problem. That means weld spatter cleaned up, conduit runs secured, and the photo-eye alignment verified with a walk-test before we pack the tools. The photo record we leave with you includes a shot of the completed work area.
- On-time arrival with advance notice. You get the technician’s name and photo before they arrive, and they show up in a marked vehicle, in uniform, background-checked and ready to work. If we’re running behind due to Phoenix traffic or an unexpected complication at a prior job, we call. No ghosting.
- Honest, upfront pricing under Haven Standard Clause 1. The flat price is written and handed to you before any work begins. Not an estimate. Not a “starting at.” The actual price. If we discover something we couldn’t have seen during the initial assessment, we stop, explain it, and get your signature on a revised written price before continuing. Clause 1 exists specifically to eliminate the invoice shock that gives this trade a bad name.
Our Satisfaction Promise

If you’re not satisfied with our work, we want to know while we’re still on site, not from a review you write three weeks later. Tell the technician. Show them what’s wrong. They have the authority to address it immediately in most cases, and they have Adrian Vance’s direct line for anything that needs owner-level judgment.
If the issue surfaces after we leave, call (602) 483-6270. A live person will answer, take the details, and schedule a return visit under the 365-Day Done Right Promise. We don’t route you through a callback queue or ask you to email photos to a general inbox. We pull your job record, review the photo log our technician filed, and dispatch the same or next available technician with context already in hand.
Here’s what that process actually looks like. A homeowner in the Biltmore area called us six months after a swing-gate motor replacement because the gate was hesitating at the closed position. We pulled the job record, saw that our technician had photographed the limit-switch setting at 87 degrees, and found that vibration had shifted it to 91. We reset it, photographed the new position at 87.5 degrees, and left an updated log. No charge. No debate. That’s the promise.
We can’t guarantee that a gate motor will outlast its manufacturer design life, or that a weld on a 20-year-old iron frame will hold forever against Phoenix’s thermal expansion cycles. What we guarantee is that we’ll diagnose honestly, price transparently, document thoroughly, and return promptly if our work needs adjustment. Under Haven Standard Clause 4, the photo evidence is already in your file and ours, so there’s never a question about what was done.
Before
AfterLicensed & Insured Backing
The paperwork behind a guarantee matters as much as the language in it. Vance Gate Repair Phoenix is licensed and insured, which means there’s a regulatory body that can verify our standing and an insurance policy that protects your property if something goes wrong during the work. That’s the real guarantee behind the guarantee.
Licensing isn’t a formality in gate work. A swing gate with a faulty safety edge or a slide gate with a misaligned photo-eye can cause serious injury. Licensed technicians understand the force-limitation requirements and the proper placement of entrapment protection devices. Insurance means that if a welding spark finds dry vegetation or a heavy gate panel shifts during adjustment, you’re not negotiating with our personal checking account. You’re working with a company that carries proper coverage and can make you whole.
We’re also bonded, which provides an additional layer of financial protection on the contractual side. Between licensing, insurance, and bonding, there’s a structure of accountability that exists whether or not you ever need to invoke it. Adrian Vance has operated under that structure since 2014 because it’s the same standard he worked under in commercial access control, where missing a credential could disqualify you from an entire facility’s vendor list.
Every technician we dispatch carries that same accountability. Background-checked, uniformed, with their name and photo provided to you before arrival. The license number is on the paperwork you sign. The photo record we leave documents their work. And the 365-Day Done Right Promise covers what they did. That’s not three separate systems. It’s one standard, applied consistently, because a guarantee you can’t verify or enforce isn’t a guarantee at all.
